Two Bathroom Renovations
Project consists of renovation of two bathrooms, the master bath, and a 2nd full bath. Master bath will have quartzite in the shower and on the vanity. 2nd bath will likely be tiled.
Master Bath
Scope of Work
Remove and replace windows by tub with sliding glass door
Remove and dispose bathtub
Remove wall tile and waterproof and prepare for stone fabricators. Amount of stone coverage open to discussion
Coordinate details with sub-contractors (tile, stone installers, and shower door installer)
Remove floor tile and waterproof and prepare for tile installer in both areas
Run existing bathtub water lines to outside shower
Install recessed shower valve and connect shower head outside
Replace existing shower valve with new
Build niche in shower
Install “Y” connection from on demand water heater to bathroom to reduce water waste
Replace lighting in shower with vapor proof lights that meet code
Repair damaged ceiling in shower
Remove and dispose of existing vanities and replace with new
Possibly move toilet 2 inches to meet code and accommodate stone
Other work as required to meet code and pass inspection

Scope of Work
Remove and replace tile in shower, and tile to ceiling. Remove tile behind toilet and replace with sheetrock.
Remove floor tile, waterproof, and prepare for floor tile installer
Remove and dispose of existing vanities and replace with new
Possibly replace toilet
Replace noisy exhaust fan with Panasonic fan
Replace existing shower valve with new
Remove and dispose of glass tub enclosure
Install pre-fab shower door (if we don’t buy a custom door)
Install recessed medicine cabinet

Licensed and insured California contractor
Open to assistance by homeowner for tasks that can be cost effective, like demolition, toilet installation, and painting
