Finding Joy During the Pandemic May 19, 2020

I hope none of your your family, or friends have been adversely impacted by the Coronavirus.  It’s clear this pandemic is going to be with us for a while, so how can we make the best of it?   As Stanford economist Paul Romer said in November 2004, “A crisis is a terrible thing to waste.”

Finding joy in life, even before the pandemic frequently required effort, awareness, and gratitude, which are often lost in the demands of daily life.  And joy isn’t ecstatic, it’s more subtle and lasts longer.  It’s what gets your though the day, and moving from week to week.

In Monday night’s New York Times Evening Briefing, (which I follow nightly) was an article highlighting 14 writers on ways they are getting through the pandemic, and even finding joy.   Hey, here’s one for us in that article: The Joy of Deleting My Many Mediocre Photos.

So how are you finding joy during this time?  What positive has come from it?  What stories can you share that might inspire others?
