Introduction to Photoshop Elements

Sunday, February 12 • 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM • $135 ($115 Members)

Are you a photography enthusiast but have never ventured into the digital darkroom? Are your photos scattered all over your computer with unique, descriptive names, but you still can’t find photos you are looking for? Do you want to give your photo that extra punch to make them really stand out? Then Photoshop Elements is for you!

Come see why Adobe Photoshop Elements is described as 70% of Photoshop for $70. Photoshop Elements has many of the features of Photoshop, the standard software for professional photographers, but with fewer options, is easier to use, and fun!

Instructor Reid Thaler will show participants the fundamentals of uploading images into Photoshop Elements including organizing, renaming, and backing up. You’ll learn how to adjust color, and crop and resize to give your photos a sharp, crisp look to make them look their best. With your enhanced photos, you’ll be able to create personalized scrapbook pages, greeting cards, and calendars. You’ll also learn how to share your images on social networking sites like Facebook, or export them to your mobile smart phone.

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop (but not required), and download and install Adobe Photoshop Elements beforehand as a 30-day free trial so they can follow along during the class. Designed for those that are interested in photography, but are new to editing photos.
